I deployed my bipod on my savage 220 and pulled out the good old grunt call. I gave him a deep growl grunt and two snorts. I laid there for what seamed like an eternity . I poked up out of the grass to see how he reacted. He was 15 yards into the tree line. Head down. Coming to fight. I gave him another mean nasty grunt. I wanted to piss him off. Within 45 seconds he cleared 100 yards of open field. I saw his rack and I instantly tried to find him in my scope. Three times I couldn’t lock onto him. Finally 30 yards away broadside I got up on my knee turned to him . MEH ….he looks at me and I squeeze the trigger…. double lunged and he went 150 yards.
