X Games has released the following statement:

“Due to the ongoing COVID-19 concerns, X Games Minneapolis 2020 – July 17-19 – has been cancelled. The safety of the athletes, staff and spectators is our top priority, and we will continue to closely monitor the situation for all X Games events.”

Is this the best decision given the circumstances and this challenging situation we are all facing right now?

Would you ask the athletes if they were interested in competing in some creative way LIVE remotely from home similar to American Idol? Or at their local ramp or skatepark? Would you social distance the athletes and run it on TV only closed to the public?
